Bobbie Hadley, 87, Columbia, KY (1938-2025)

Bobbie Sue (Bunch) Hadley of Columbia passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Summit Manor Nursing Home in Columbia. She was 87 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 1pmCT on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY, with Bro. Darrell Karnes officiating. Burial will follow in the McClister Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Monday from 4pmCT until 8pmCT, and will continue Tuesday morning until time for the service at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.


She was born in Glensfork, KY on July 24, 1938, to the late Rufus and Hazel Gifford Bunch. She was preceded in death by her husband Bro. Ralph Hadley on May 22, 2022.

Mrs. Hadley was a member of the Tabor Community Church and enjoyed quilting, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include seven sons Mitchell Hadley of Columbia, KY, Jeffrey Hadley (Kim) of Columbia, KY, Jerry Hadley (Vickie) of Jamestown, KY, Frankie Hadley (Rejeena) of Columbia, KY, Billy Hadley (Patricia) of Columbia, KY, Anthony Hadley (Lori Kelsey) of Russell Springs, KY, and Chris Hadley of Columbia, KY; eight grandchildren Kyle Hadley, Ashley Burns, Kristy Claywell, Joshua Hadley (Kassey), Mariah Peters (Joe), Kenisha Kelsey (Ryon), McKenzie Myers (Austin), and Karlee Kelsey and eleven great grandchildren; two siblings Donnie Bunch (Patty) of Glensfork, KY and Helen Meece of Somerset, KY and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by six siblings Paul, Buddy and Junior Bunch, Frances Kelly, Betty Grant and Audry Bunch, a daughter-in-law Pamela June Hadley and a grandson-in-law Brandon Burns.

Pallbearers will be her sons and grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers will be her great grandchildren.
