Tony M. Price, 84, Casey County, KY Tony M. Price, of Liberty, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 19, 2025. He took his first breath and his last on the same family farm, a place he cherished his entire life. He was 84. Born on March 14, 1941, in Pricetown, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Floyd B. Price and Mamie Taylor Price. Tony was a retired loan officer with the Casey County Bank after forty years. While working full time at the bank, Tony was on the Casey County School Board for twenty years and served as chairman. He was also on the Casey County Health Board for twenty-four years and was the treasurer for twelve of those. He was a current director for the Kentucky Growers Insurance Company as well as a current Master Commissioner appraiser. Tony was a member of the Walnut Hill Separate Baptist Church and of the Craftsman Masonic Lodge #722. He and his wife Judy, who he referred to as the most beautiful wife a man could have, fostered eight different children throughout their lives. In Tony's written last wishes, he stated, "God has been good to me." Tony is survived by his daughter, Katrina Price of Liberty; son, Jimmy Price of Liberty; a granddaughter, Autumn (Brandon) Fair of Liberty; and great-grandchildren, Bransen, Ava Jo, Ada, and Anna; and a sister, Connie Allen of Jeffersonville, IN. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Judy Brown Price, who passed away on May 23, 2024; seven sisters, Virginia Watson, Mable Grider, Frances Marples, Maxine Butler, Maurine Thomas, Joyce Woodrum, and Margaret Woodrum; and three brothers, Beauford Price, Bobby Price, and Owen Woodrum. The funeral service and masonic rites will be held at 2pmET on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in Caney Fork Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12noon to 2pm on Saturday. Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses. This story was posted on 2025-11-28 10:31:53
