Seibert Keith Sullivan, 88, Taylor County, KY Seibert Keith Sullivan, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, went to his heavenly home on Monday, November 24, 2025. He was 88 years old. Seibert was born on 9 December 1936 in Willowtown, Kentucky. He became a believer when he was 8 years old and knew at that time that he was called to be a preacher. He married Minnie Louise Harris on December 25, 1954, and they celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary at Bluegrass Way in 2024. He is a 1958 graduate of Taylor County High School and a 1976 graduate of Clear Creek Baptist Bible College, Pineville, Kentucky. He served as pastor of Bethany Baptist Chapel, Columbia, KY, 1971-1973; Dewitt Baptist Church, Dewitt, KY, 1973-1976; Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Lawrenceburg, KY, 1976-1978; Stanton Baptist Church, Stanton, KY, 1978-1980; Altona Baptist Church, Calvert City, KY, 1980-1989; Eastside Baptist Church, Campbellsville, KY, 1991-1993, Westmoreland Baptist Church, Westmoreland, TN, 1993-1995; Creston Baptist Church, Liberty, KY, 1996-1997; Raikes Hill Baptist Church, Elk Horn, KY, 2003-2004; and interim pastor of Beech Grove Baptist Church, Campbellsville, KY, 2000. He retired from pastoring in 2004 and was a member of Mount Washington Baptist Church, Raywick, KY. He spent his time reading books and the newspaper, writing letters and stories, and making phone calls to family and friends. He enjoyed reminiscing and telling stories from his childhood, and sometimes he would even sing songs for his grandchildren that his mother used to sing to him. He loved visiting with his family and especially loved when the grandchildren and great grandchildren came to visit. He is survived by his wife Minnie; his daughter Vicky and husband Dr. Jay Barnett of Campbellsville, son Lattie and wife Tammy of Melber, KY, and daughter Teresa Ervin of Mayfield, KY; grandchildren Dr. Justy Engle of Campbellsville, Caleb Barnett of Campbellsville, Dr. Blake Sullivan and wife Katie of Benton, KY, Rae Sullivan of Benton, KY, Kevin Ervin and wife Megan of Mayfield, KY and Kelsea Ervin of Mayfield, KY, Lori and husband Joshua Bewley of Mayfield, KY, Katherine and husband Jordan Abernathy of Paducah, KY, Annalise and husband Daniel Sanderson of Melber, KY; great grandchildren Selah Engle, Levy and Leeland Sullivan, Colt and Blaine Bewley, Ellie and Axton Abernathy, Emmett and Isabella Sanderson; honorary granddaughters Laura and Leah of Calvert City, KY; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents Charlie and Mae Sullivan, brothers and their spouses, Dean and Dorothy Sullivan, Leon and Genea Sullivan, and Clayton and Maxine Sullivan, and in-laws Orvey and Jessie Whitlock Harris. Pallbearers are Blake Sullivan, Kevin Ervin, Caleb Barnett, Steve Sullivan, Stuart Sullivan, and Jeff Wright. The Sullivan family wishes to express their gratitude to Bluegrass Way family and staff at Taylor Regional Hospital. Visitation will be on Saturday, November 29 from 10am until the funeral begins at noon at Parrott and Ramsey Funeral Home.
