Bruce Neal Hogue, 58, Russell County, KY

Bruce Neal Hogue, of Jamestown, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at his home. He was 58 years of age.

Born on November 5, 1967, in Somerset, he was a son of the late Vernon and Myra Wesley Hogue. Bruce had several professions in life. He was a finance manager and a local business owner, among other ventures as well. He loved hunting, fishing, and playing golf. Bruce was a person who never met a stranger, who deeply loved his family and friends. He loved animals, especially his beloved dog, Spanky.


Bruce is survived by his siblings, Adam (and Delania) Hogue, of Jamestown and Christy (and Cris) Hoynoski, of Wesley Chapel, Florida; and his nephews, Bryce and Brandt Hoynoski.

Funeral services are 1pmCT on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Bernard Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bethelridge Cemetery in Casey County. Visitation will be held from 11 until the time of services on Saturday.

Pallbearers are Kevin Helm, Bryce Hoynoski, Brandt Hoynoski, Brad Bates, Gary Hogue, and Casey Collins.

Honorary pallbearer will be Lee Ann Wilson, who was like a sister to Bruce.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations of sympathy be made to Bethelridge Cemetery Fund, c/o Ronald Dick, 67 Hobart Lane, Bethelridge, Kentucky 42516.
