Service Officer will be at VFW on Nov 20

From Joe Hare
VFW 6097

As of July 1, 2025, only trained and certified (VFW, DAV, or American Legion, etc) service officers can write and send in applications for other veterans. On Thursday 20 Nov 2025 there will be a VFW Service Officer, Anthony Cook, at VFW Post 6097, 500 Green Hills Road, Columbia, KY.

"Doc" Cook will be there from 10amCT until all veterans are served. This service is open to ANY veteran and there is NO charge. If you wish to apply for entrance into the VA system, proof of service is required, with your DD-214 being the best. If you have an existing claim, bring all or at least your last correspondence from the VA.

Veterans don't delay, this is a good time to apply for your benefits. You will be seen on a first come first serve basis.
