Operation Christmas Child collection kicks off next week

We're now less than a week away from National Collection week for Samaritan Purse's Operation Christmas Child shoebox gifts, November 17-24, 2025.

Once again the Columbia First Church of the Nazarene will serve as the central drop off location for Adair County. The First Church of the Nazarene/Wheet Fellowship Hall is located at 1200 Jamestown Street Columbia, KY. To see all the dates and times for OCC shoebox dropoffs, see OCC National Collection Dates for 2025.

Shoebox dedication at Columbia Baptist Church

Pastor Randy Johnson of the Columbia Baptist Church and many of the church's youth pray over the more than 1200 shoebox gifts that have been collected this year by Columbia Baptist Church. Many churches in Adair and surrounding counties will be having a special time of prayer over OCC shoebox gifts that have been collected for this year's national collection week. OCC national collection week begins Monday, November 17 and runs through Monday, November 24, 2025.
