Authors and artisans who will be on hand with their works include Vonnie Kolbenschlag, Rick Lee, Russell Lunsford, Doug Peterson, Geri Reynolds, Andria Rounds, Tim Roy, Lou Ann Russell, Harold "Dick" Scholl , Pam and Brandon Spires, Lanny Tucker, Robert Allen Vaughn, Mike Watson, Donna Whitaker, Rodney White, Rebecca Williams, and Barbara Wright.

Click 'read more' for introductions to their work:

  • Vonnie Kolbenschlag, of Columbia, will have her most recent publication, Bible Stones Show the Way, at the 2025 book fair. The book "highlights the physical and symbolic importance of the earliest Biblical stories, inviting readers to deepen their understanding of scripture and its profound, timeless messages. 'The Way' was a term used by early Christians to identify themselves, referring to Jesus saying, 'I am the Way.'"

  • Rick Lee, of Harrodsburg. "Tribute to Valor and Courage frames the stories of American veterans who lived through World War 2. Their experiences span the panorama of the globe."

  • Russell Lunsford, now a resident of Adair County, veteran, current commander of the local VFW, and much more. Mr. Lunsford's books: Benjamin Nathan Tuggle: Adventurer--A Children's Adventure Series; Letters from a Captive Heart--A novel of American POWs during the Korean War; Letters from a Lost Soul--Sequel to Captive heart, coming soon; Sweetheart and My Love; and Daniel Boone's Kentucky.

  • Doug Peterson, United States Coast Guard, Retired, resides in Adair County. He has several books from U.S. Lighthouse Service Tenders, 1840-1939, to books that are faith based and instruction.

  • Geri Reynolds will be available with her handmade crafts.

  • Andria Rounds will be with us with her Free Range Crochet items.

  • Tim Roy an Adair County writer of great talent.

  • Lou Ann Russell is an excellent writer and story teller. She will have copies of some of her works on hand.

  • Harold "Dick" Scholl is a local talent of unequalled status. A Vietnam Veteran, Dick is a prolific painter with a variety of styles! Come early to find Superman at his table--his granddaughter is getting married later that afternoon, but he is joining us for a while.

  • Pam and Brandon Spires are artists with deep Adair County roots. Pam will be present with her art works, craft projects, and maybe a few copies of her book. Brandon is a fine landscape artist.

  • Lanny Tucker, of Greensburg, is a perennial Book Fair exhibitor and will be here this year with copies of his previous works, and maybe something you haven't seen yet!

  • Robert Allen Vaughn is known to many, but perhaps not as a poet. He has produced his first book of poetry and prose, just now available. Come out to see Mr. Vaughn and learn some great things!

  • Mike Watson is the local historian and genealogist. He had been compiling historical and family books for more than four decades. He will have some of his 70+ histories and research works available at the Book Fair.

  • Donna Whitaker, now a resident to Ohio, will be on hand with her series titles. The Stone Valley Series has received critical acclaim. The Crossing, book 5: Troubled by his birth identity, Judah Cross seeks legitimacy from Jake Templeton, a descendent of the founders of Stone Valley, Kentucky. He loves Eve McClelland, the granddaughter of Judge Sam Spencer. The judge has prevented any romantic inclinations from Judah by sending him away under indenture to his son Clay Spencer in Clinton County, Kentucky. Judah then meets Marnie, the daughter of Clay Spencer and a Christian. Judah finds his heart headed in a different direction. Yet, he has an obstacle winning her heart, for he is a nonbeliever.

  • Rodney White, author of the new History of the Adair County Fair, will be present with his limited edition book! Come check this one out.

  • Rebecca Williams, now of Somerset, Kentucky, is a usual exhibitor at the Book Fair. This year she will have a selection of her paintings, crafts and copies of books by her later brother, David Williams.

  • Barbara Wright, premier genealogist and historian for Green and surrounding counties, will have copies of her many works available. Barbara has been working on books for many years and always has a new one or two for each Book Fair.

The following groups and organizations will be present at the Book Fair:
  • Adair County Library & Genealogy & History Research Center

  • Adair Genealogical Society

  • Adair Heritage Association

  • Jane Lampton Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution

  • Janice Holt & Henry Giles Foundation with Keisha Tucker

  • Green County Genealogical Society with Fayma Callahan

  • Lanterns & Tombstones Cemetery Tours
