Anna Kempton, 65, Metcalfe County, KY

Anna Kempton, age 65 of Edmonton, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Metcalfe Health Care Center. Anna was born on January 19, 1960 in Cumberland County, KY to the late James Spencer Wray and Matry Delana Copas Wray. She was of Baptist faith and was a former employee of Sutton Shirt Corporation.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Gary Kempton, one son James Elvis Wayne Kempton, two sisters Gayle Ballard and Margaret Wray. Survivors Include:

One Daughter- Julie Kempton of Albany, KY

Six Brothers- Jamie Wray, Troy Wray(Susan), Timmy Wray, Randall Wray, and James "Buddy" Wray(Judy) all of Burkesville, KY and Ricky Wray of Edmonton, KY

Four Sisters- Mariedith Wray of Edmonton, KY, Martha Hulse(Ferrie) of Burkesville, KY Bonnie Isenberg(Bruce) of Tompkinsville, KY and Patty Wray of Summer Shade, KY

Six Grandchildren- Tony Dewayne Groce, Teanna Delana Groce, Marilyn Beckynpearl Goatee, Maeson Garyn Charleston Goatee, Chloe Kempton, Emma Kempton

and a host of other relatives and friends

Funeral Service: Tuesday, November 04, 2025 at 1pmCT at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Clinton County, KY. Family requests visitation on Tuesday, November 4th from 10 till 1.
