Jamah Thrasher, 95, Cumberland County, KY

Jamah Thrasher, age 95 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Signature Healthcare of Monroe in Tompkinsville. Jamah was born on January 03, 1930 in Cumberland County, KY to the late James Henry "Jim" Crawley and Alma Nation Crawley. She was a homemaker, enjoyed making dried apple pies, black walnut cakes, and piecing quilts and was a faithful member of Sexton Fork Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Martin Thrasher, one son Ronnie Thrasher, two sisters Festus Conley and husband Robert, Stella Cross and husband Lloyd, two brothers J.H. "Foots" Crawley and wife Carolyn and Truesdale Crawley.

Survivors Include:

One Daughter- Ronda Chandler and her husband Delbert of Tompkinsville, KY

Sister-in-law- Pat Crawley of Burkesville, KY

Nieces and Nephews- Sharon Pickens(Jeff), Tammy Cox(Robert), Jennifer Crawley, Emily Crawley, Dale Cross, Laura Riley(Terry), John Crawley, Patrick Crawley

12 Great Nieces and Nephews and 12 Great Great Nieces and Nephews and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral Service: Sunday, November 02, 2025 at 2pmCT at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Modoc Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Saturday, November 01, 2025 from 11 till 9 and on Sunday from 6 until time for the funeral service.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of a donation to the Modoc Cemetery Fund or Vincent Cemetery Fund and may be left at the funeral home.
