Andy Loy of Columbia died on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington. He was 52 years old.

The funeral service will be held at 1pmCT on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Paul Patton officiating. Burial will follow in Loy Cemetery.

Visitation is requested after 4pmCT on Saturday.


He was born August 21, 1973, in Adair County and was preceded in death by his father, Jerry H. Loy.

Survivors include:
  • His mother - Alma Fay Holmes Loy of Columbia
  • His wife - Oliva Turner Loy of Columbia
  • One son - Preston Loy of Columbia
  • One daughter - Caitlin Loy of Columbia
  • Two grandchildren - Zaxston Smith and Clyde Loy
  • Two brothers - Jerry Allan Loy and Rodney Loy both of Columbia
  • Three sisters - Rhonda Bradshaw (Tim), Angela Williams, Terri Parnell (David) all of Columbia
  • Several other relatives and friends
