Head-on collision, single-car accident, Fri. evening, in KSP Post 15 area Driver, passenger, in Washington incident airlifted; Metcalfe driver taken to TJ Two people, the driver and a passenger of one of the two cars involved, were airlifted to UK Medical Center following a head-on collision on US 150 two miles east of Springfield, KY. The accident occurred at 8:15 p.m., Friday, March 31, 2006. The driver, Mike Price, 27, Louisville, KY, and a passenger, Shelly Johnson, 21, Louisville, KY, were airlifted. Neith had a seat belt in use. (2015 hrs). The driver of the other vehicle, Charles Acey, 57, Gravel Switch , was not injured. A seat belt was in use. Asey was operating a 2002 Dodge, traveling east. Mike Price was operating a 1993 Oldsmobile, traveling west. The vehicles collided head-on. Trooper Walker of Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY, investigated the accident. Single vehicle Metcalfe accident results in injury to driver An accident at 6:10 p.m., Friday, March 31, 2006, happened when a 2001 Hyundai ran off KY 163 and overturned. Gary Miller, 31, Summer Shade, KY, was treated at T.J. Sampson Hospital in Glasgow, Miller had been wearing a seatbelt. The accident occurred 11 miles south of Edmonton, KY, on the Tompkinsville Road. Trooper Dubree of Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY, investigated the accident.
