Volleyball: Lady Indians historic season

By Trey Stephens, Staff Writer

On Sunday, October 26, 2025, the Adair County Lady Indians Volleyball team fell to the Elizabethtown Panthers in straight sets 25-15, 25-17, and 25-18 in the first round of the Fifth Region Tournament. The Lady Indians fought extremely hard throughout the game and took several points off the Panthers, especially in the later parts of the game.

Despite the loss, the Tribe still finished the season with a 29-8 record, the best in the Fifth Region. That record also marks the history books as the winningest season in Adair County Volleyball history, and the first time a Lady Indians volleyball team has made the Fifth Region Tournament. All in all, we all should be incredibly proud of the season the Lady Indians volleyball team put together. I am already excited for next season!
