First grader visit raised our spirits By Linda Waggener First grader Olivia came by recently with her granddad Ricky Collins to check on the electrical panel. At age 6, she was interested in everything and never still for one second - climbing up the spiral stairs, hoping back down the stairs, going back up the stairs, then back down the stairs, you get the picture! Olivia tested every chair just like Little Red Riding Hood, she found the yoga ball, loved bouncing on it, then bouncing it by itself. She thought the daybed, piled high with quilts, was the most comfy spot of all. My grandchildren have grown past that age of wonderful constant curiosity and I'd forgotten just how delightful it can be to have a visit with a first grader. I highly recommend it!
