Pumpkin Patch Parade around the Square By Kim Harwood, Executive Director Edmonton Metcalfe Chamber of Commerce The Edmonton Metcalfe County Chamber of Commerce sponsored the 1st Metcalfe County Pumpkin Patch Parade around the Square in 2020 with fourteen amazing entries who created displays for all to enjoy. The parade has continued and it's time to decorate the square for fall and Halloween to make it a spooktacular setting for the Library Story Hour and Halloween night trick or treaters on the square. The square is already looking great, so if you haven't decorated yet this is a fantastic opportunity and if you have, enter the contest for a chance to win Metcalfe Money. We encourage anyone who does not have a business on the square to put a display in the courtyard, this is just a friendly fun competition with the overall goal of making everything look festive! Call Kim at the Chamber for more details or to get a spot to show off your talent in the courtyard. We know as people drive through Metcalfe County they will see a lot of beautifully decorated sites. Don't forget to check out the amazing display in Summer Shade by Festive Acres on the hill close to the Dollar Market, it gets better each year. The Pumpkin Patch Parade judging will take place Tuesday, October 28th, good luck. Note: All displays in the courtyard must be removed by Monday, November 3rd.
