Cheryl S. Strodtman, 81, Campbellsville, KY (1944-2025)

Mrs. Cheryl Sandra (Stevenson) Strodtman departed this life on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at the Bluegrass Way Senior Living facility. She was 81 years old.

There is a graveside memorial service tentatively scheduled to honor the life of Mrs. Strodtman at 10amCT on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at the Haven Hill Cemetery in Adair County. All times are subject to change with the onset of inclement weather.


Mrs. Cheryl Sandra Strodtman of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Floyd and Rosie Lee (Ne'e Russell)) Stevenson, was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on July 31, 1944. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Egypt Christian Church.

Mrs. Strodtman had earned a Masters Degree from the University of South Florida, and was a homemaker and the devoted wife of Mr. Steven Strodtman. Together, they shared nearly 60 years of marriage having united on May 21, 1966. She was a cherished wife, mother, and grandmother, and the peace and comfort she now enjoys is well-deserved.

Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Michael Strodtman.

She leaves to carry her legacy:
  • Her husband, Mr. Steven Strodtman
  • A daughter, Lisa Godsey and husband Michael
  • Three grandchildren: Alan Godsey and wife Beka, Alex Godsey, and Andrew Godsey
  • Two great-grandchildren: Merlin and Christina
  • A host of extended family members and friends
In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials in the form of donations to Hosparus of Green River. Those can be made in person anytime at the funeral home or prior to the service at the cemetery.
