Busy week at Wolf Creek Hatchery Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery has had a busy week, starting with the Catch a Smile Senior Fishing Derby on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. On Wednesday and Thursday, September 24 and 25, 2025, the hatchery has been hosting special needs students from surrounding county schools for the Reaching for a Rainbow Special Needs Fishing Derby. Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery will be hosting the Cumberland River Rendezvous from 10amCT to 6pmCT on Saturday, September 27, 2025, presented by Bluegrass Trout Unlimited. This event will feature professional fly-fishing guides, fly-tying and casting demonstrations, seminars, down-home music, and free food. This event is for all ages.
