Rebecca Jane Stephens, 91, Russell County, KY

Rebecca Jane Stephens, of Russell Springs, passed away peacefully at her home Tuesday, September 23, 2025. She was 91 years of age.

Born October 19, 1933, in Rosie, Arkansas, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Ethel Wyatt Coleman. On January 24, 1964, Jane wed the love of her life, Terril Stephens, in Titusville, Florida.


She was a wonderful homemaker, excellent cook and seamstress, and marvelous wife, who was dedicated to her husband. Jane was a member of The Springs Church.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 61 years, Terril Stephens, of Russell Springs; a sister, Julia Geis, of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and a host of nieces and nephews, good neighbors, and wonderful caregivers.

Funeral services are 12noonCT Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Bernard Funeral Home, with Bro. Ron Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow in Russell Springs City Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 8:30 and continue until time of services.
