Football: Indians fall to Scotties, face Hawks next

By Trey Stephens, Staff Writer

On Friday, September 19, 2025, the Adair County Indians fell at home to the Glasgow Scotties 49-0. The Indians debuted their new home field in this game, which looked incredible. The Tribe unfortunately could not get the same enthusiasm going on either side of the ball, falling behind 22-0 by the end of the first quarter, and 36-0 by the half.

The Indians ran for 115 yards, a majority of which came from senior Ryder Rodgers. Rodgers had 14 carries for 90 yards. The team passed for 70 yards, all from Junior Brody Karnes, who was two for six for 70 yards and had an interception. The team was led in tackles by sophomore Callum Darnell, with 13, followed by Rodgers with 11.

The Indians will seek to get back on track at they face the LaRue County Hawks (2-3) on the road. Kickoff is scheduled for 7pmCT on Friday, September 26, 2025, at Larue Co. High School, 925 S Lincoln Blvd, Hodgenville, KY.
