Letter: State with so much water yet none

Marie Freeman writes:
Well, I give a handshake and a "thank you" to you, Billy Joe Fudge, and to Richard Lee Walker. And to Paul Patton, the governor at the time. He was very instrumental in getting water and sewer to the entire state. Moving here from Indiana, I had no idea a state with so much water would have no water.

The geographical layout of Kentucky makes it very difficult to have a well. Even if you capture it, it'll get lost in a cavern, which is what probably happened to mine. Life is water. Gave me an appreciation for water I never had before.
