ACSO: Adair County female arrested on drug charges

On September 2, 2025 Adair County Deputies responded to New Concord Road on a complaint of a female refusing to leave the residence.

Deputies made contact with Brittany Neal, age 32, of Columbia. Neal began cussing and screaming at the deputies and attempted to punch deputies.

Neal was placed under arrest and taken to the Adair County Jail. Upon entering the jail, during a search jail deputies were able to locate suspected methamphetamine that Neal had concealed in her bra.


Neal was charged with the following charges:

Public Intoxication

Criminal Trespassing

Menacing

Resisting arrest

Possession of Controlled Substance 1st degree 2nd offense Methamphetamine

Promoting contraband 1st degree

Arrest was made by Deputy Emily Wall and assisted by Deputy Derek Padgett
