Letter: Back-to-School Bash schedule Kathryn Krug writes: Do you have times for the various activities? Like musicians, Lance Burton, or others?The City of Columbia Back to School Bash starts at 11amCT on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at the City Park on Fairground Street in Columbia, KY. Trey Stephens, Columbia Magazine Staff Writer and Assistant to the Mayor, says, "Lance performs at 11amCT, and the Bash will come to a close at 2pmCT." There will also be a performance by Beech Bend resident magician Dinky Gowen, plus music by Mark Harris and Jake Hill of Green River Band fame. The City of Columbia invites everyone to come out, bring their kids, and enjoy the free shows. All children will receive a free t-shirt (while supplies last), and will have a chance to win other surprise giveaways.
