Recycle old electronics during October From Bridget Compton Adair County Deputy Judge Executive, Road Administrative Assistant and Solid Waste Coordinator I'm excited to share that Adair County will be hosting a month-long E-SCRAP collection event this October! In previous years, this event lasted just one week -- but thanks to grant funding from the Kentucky Division of Waste Management, residents now have the entire month of October to safely dispose of unwanted electronic waste. Adair County residents will be able to safely recycle their old electronics from October 1 through October 31, 2025, at the Adair County Recycling Building, 82 Service Rd., Columbia, KY. The following items will be accepted: computers and monitors, printers, scanners, copiers, cameras, camcorders, televisions and speakers, telephones and speakers, video game equipment, tv cable boxes and equipment, routers, hubs, modems, power supplies, servers and circuit boards, media tapes, disks, hard drives, and shredders.
