TJHC to participate in active shooter training drill with CPD From Stacey Biggs T.J. Health Columbia, in cooperation with the Columbia Police Department, will be conducting an active shooter training drill to enhance emergency preparedness and ensure the safety of patients, visitors, and staff at 5pmCT on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. This realistic training exercise is designed to test law enforcement response times and the ability of T.J. Health Columbia employees to navigate and respond to dangerous situations. Blank rounds will be used during the drill to simulate real-life scenarios. There is no actual threat to public safety. The use of blanks is intended to provide a realistic training experience for all participants. This training is part of T.J. Health Columbia's ongoing commitment to the safety and security of its patients, staff, and the community.
