Basketball: Lady Indians headed to BCHS for doubleheader

By Trey Stephens, Staff Writer

The Adair County High School Lady Indians Basketball team is back!

Just a day after we got to see the Indians take the court for the first time this summer, we will now get to see Adair County Girls Basketball begin their 2025 summer ball season. The team will face off against Madison Southern at 4pmCT today, Tuesday, June 3, 2025, followed by Pulaski County at 6pmCT.

The first matchup comes against a Madison Southern team that went 11-15 last season, but did not graduate a single senior and returns quality players that contributed largely for the Madison Southern Lady Eagles last year including Laci Sandlin and Hadley French. The Indians will then face a Pulaski County team that went 19-12 last season and is losing only one graduating senior that contributed in the post season for the Lady Maroons last year. Adair County will need to slow down last year's Junior standout Madeline Butcher against Pulaski in order to try to get a win.

Both of these games will be played at Boyle County High School, 1637 Perryville Rd, Danville, KY.
