Juanita Ralston, 93, Dunville, KY Juanita Ralston, of Dunnville, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at her home. She was 93. Born on August 16, 1931, in Casey County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Elmer D. and Myrtle Marie Hatfield Miller. Juanita obtained a bachelor's degree in education from Eastern Kentucky University. She was a retired school teacher with the Casey County School System. In her early days of teaching, she taught in a one-room schoolhouse. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church. She enjoyed quilting and embroidering. She is survived by a nephew, Gary (and Sharon) Miller of Dunnville; great nephews, Jason (and Natalie) Miller and Nicklas (and Ashlee) Miller, both of Dunnville; and great-great nieces and nephews, Sophia, Landon, Josie, Winnie, and Lane. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William McKinley Ralston, Jr., who passed away on February 13, 1980; and a brother, Kenneth Miller. The funeral service will be held at 1pmET on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Ed Parton officiating. Burial will follow in Casey County Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10 to 1 Wednesday. Pallbearers will be Jason Miller, Nicklas Miller, Jim Mishler, Charles Norfleet, Darrell Adams, and Tommy Miller.
