Pat Cave Webster, 87, Taylor County, KY

Pat Cave Webster, a beloved mother, grandmother, teacher, and friend, passed away peacefully in Lexington, Kentucky, on Sunday, May 4, 2025.

Born to Helen and Ruby Cave, Pat was a lifelong resident of Campbellsville. She attended Campbellsville Schools and graduated from Campbellsville University with a degree in education. On April 28, 1961, she married Robert Webster. They shared a loving marriage until his passing on May 2, 2000.

Pat dedicated her career to teaching in the Campbellsville school system until her retirement in 1990. She was known for her warmth, dedication, and deep care for her students.

A faithful member of Campbellsville Christian Church, Pat played piano for worship services for many years and served on various committees, always ready to lend her time and talents. Her love for service extended into the broader community as well. She was civically engaged, serving on the Public Library Board and the Recycling Committee. She was active with the Homemakers, the Retired Teachers Association, and the Hospital Auxiliary.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Karen Simpson (Gary) of Lexington, and her son, Gary Webster of Winchester. She was the proud grandmother of Hannah Simpson of Louisville and Lucas Simpson of Lexington. She is also survived by her sister, Betty Cecil (Jim) of Lexington, as well as several nieces, nephews, and other beloved family members and friends.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Liberty Ridge Senior Living in Lexington for their care and support during Pat's seven-year residence.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 12noon to 2pmET, with the service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Dr. Joel Patton will officiate the service. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery.
