Bobby Joe Buckner, 75, Green County, KY Bobby Joe Buckner of Greensburg, KY was born July 22, 1949, in Green County, KY to the late Robert Lee and Molly Mae Curry Buckner. He departed this life on Friday, May 2, 2025, in Greensburg, having attained the age of seventy-five years, nine months and eleven days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers: Billy, Elroy and Donnie Buckner; and two sisters: Roberta Davenport and Dixie Hagan. Survivors include: his wife: Joyce Judd Buckner of Greensburg; one daughter: Cyndi Buckner and Kevin Wallace of Glasgow; one sister and her husband: Janey Compton and Bobby of Greensburg; one brother: James Buckner and Jeanne of Louisville, KY; two grandchildren: Ashley Curry and her husband Sean of Greensburg, and Danielle Lobb and Jason McGuffin of Greensburg; five great-grandchildren: Daven, Lily, E.J., Bryson and MaciAnn Joe of Greensburg plus a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Service for Bobby Joe Buckner will be held Friday, May 9, 2025, at 11amCT at Foster-Toler Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg, officiated by Bro. Wilburn Bonta with burial to follow in the Green County Memory Gardens cemetery.
