The Holloway Wellness Center at Lindsey Wilson College is getting ready for a summer full of action and a lot exciting opportunities for the community. Whether you're looking to learn to swim, become a certified lifeguard, or join a recreational swim team, the Aquatics Program has something for everyone.
  • Group Swim Lessons - Two Weeks of Fun and Learning
Starting soon, the Aquatics Program will offer two weeks of group swim lessons for individuals of all ages and experience levels. Lessons are $50 per week, and participants are welcome to sign up for one or both weeks. Registration and payment will take place in person at the Holloway Wellness Center, including the same day of the lesson if needed. For more information, contact Alejandra Martinez, Aquatics Program Intern, at alejandra.martinez@lindsey.edu .

  • American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification Course
Lindsey Wilson College will also be offering an American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification Course, perfect for individuals looking to become certified for summer job opportunities or improve their safety skills. Registration is open until this Saturday, May 10, 2025, and those interested must contact Alicia Kemnitz at kemnitza@lindsey.edu to register and receive more information.

  • Blue Raider Aquatics Club (BRAC) Summer League Registration
The Blue Raider Aquatics Club (BRAC) is returning with its Summer League Recreation Program, inviting young swimmers to compete, train, and, most importantly, have fun this summer. Registration for the BRAC summer league will be held on May 19, May 20, and May 27, 2025, from 5pmCT to 7pmCT, in the lobby of the Holloway Health & Wellness Center, 399 Williams St., Columbia, KY. This is a fantastic opportunity for families to get involved in a supportive, team-based swim program. Questions about BRAC registration should be directed to Tyler King at kingt@lindsey.edu.
With swim lessons, certification opportunities, and a thriving youth swim league, the Aquatics Program at Lindsey Wilson College is ready to make a big splash this summer. Come be part of the action!
