Softball: Lady Indians defeat Lady Falcons 12-6

The team current sits at 5-7 on the season, most recently coming off a 12-6 victory over the Monroe County Lady Falcons. In that game, Adair County was led on offense by Keylin Bergin, Reese Bardin, and Halynn Stargel, all with two hits each. Allee Campbell led the team in RBIs, with four.

Moving over to pitching, starter Halynn Stargel went three innings striking out four batters and giving up three hits while surrendering no runs. Jade Waggener went four innings, striking out three batters and throwing 49 pitches. Keylin Bergin also contributed 16 pitches from the mound.

Adair County will be back in action on the road at Glasgow (2-14) at 5:30pmCT on Monday, May 5, 2025.

They'll be on the road to Marion County on Tuesday, then to Caverna on Thursday, before finishing the week at home on Friday against McCreary Central.
