The Columbia High School junior class trip was reported, if ever so briefly, in the Adair County News:


C.H.S. Juniors Spend Day at Mammoth Cave

Members of the junior class at the Columbia High School, motored to MammothCave National Park on Thursday, wherethey enjoyed a picnic lunch and tripthrough the famous cavern during the day.

They were accompanied by the classsponsors, Mrs. J.W. Walker and MissFrances Russell, and Mr. and Mrs. JohnBurr.

It was in the Wednesday, May 21, 1947 Adair County News, page ten.
