ACMS Spirit of KY Barrel Head Exhibition to June 11 New student art was set up at the Kentucky Department of Education office. K-12 students across Kentucky created paintings on bourbon barrel lids. Each painting represents the town or region where the student lives, and each Kentucky region is represented. Adair County is part of the Caveland Region. Students who worked on and completed the 2 barrel heads from Adair County are ACMS students Alaynah Bayuk, Alayna Roberts, Bailey Simpson and ACHS Junior Keely Kerns. The artwork was recently displayed at the Kentucky Art Education Association (KYAEA) National Convention. The art is now displayed on the 4th and 5th floors by the elevators at 300 Sower Blvd. in Frankfort. They will be up until June 11. This story was posted on 2025-04-28 10:26:58
