Delores June Lee, 88, Green County, KY

Delores June "Momma" Lee was born November 22, 1936 to the late Hugh and Annabelle Miller Wright. She departed this life on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at her residence, having attained the age of eighty-eight years, four months and fourteen days.

She was a saved, born-again Christian, and was a member of the Russell Creek Missionary Baptist Church. She was a high school graduate and was a retired C.N.A. from Lifeline Home Health. She was a member of the Homemakers Group and the Ladies Prayer Group.


Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Frank "Red" Lee on July 6, 1999, being wed on December 22, 1956; three daughters: Carolyn Sue Norris, Gloria Jean Lee, and Patty Vanarsdall; one son: Mitchell Lee; one brother: Benjamin Wright Jr.; and one sister: Genevive Hutchinson.

She is survived by two daughters: Tammy Lee, Missy Curry and her husband Brent of Green County, KY; two sons: Michael Lee and his wife Jennifer of Green County, KY; Patrick Lee and Leslie Branham of Glasgow, KY; two sons-in-law: Ray Norris of Jefferson County, David Vanarsdall of Green County; one daughter-in-law: Bee Lee of Green County, KY; one brother: Lynden Wright of Jefferson County, KY; eleven grandchildren: Chasity Davis, Grant Lee, Scott Norris, Cole Davis, Amber Pruitt, Jason Vanarsdall, Gabby Vanarsdall, Gracey Branham, Kayden Lee, Shawn Lee, and Triz Lee; a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, plus nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Funeral service for Delores June "Momma" Lee will be conducted 1pmCT Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Adam Pruitt and Bro. Micky Pruitt officiating.

Visitation is requested from 5-8 Tuesday and after 7 Wednesday, April 9, 2025.

Pallbearers: Mike Lee, Patrick Lee, David Vanarsdall, Mike Jones, Larry Pierce, Brent Curry

The family has requested expressions of sympathy be donations to the Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church Cemetery Fund and those can be made at the funeral home.
