Tennis: LWC tops Cumberland in MSC play

Lebanon, TN - The No. 3-ranked Lindsey Wilson women's tennis team extended its winning streak with a 5-2 road victory over No. 25 Cumberland (TN) on Thursday evening at the Tommy Gray Memorial Courts. The Blue Raiders (10-2, 2-0 MSC) secured the doubles point and claimed four singles wins, with Anastasiia Ivanchenko clinching the victory to remain undefeated in Mid-South Conference action.

The No. 5-ranked Lindsey Wilson men's tennis team secured a hard-fought 4-3 victory over the No. 12 Cumberland men's team. The Blue Raiders (9-3, 2-0 MSC) claimed the doubles point and earned three singles wins to remain unbeaten in conference play. Marcal Miret provided the clinching at court No. 5 when the Blue Raiders were 3-2 up.

Lindsey Wilson returns home on Sunday at 2pmCT to host SCAD Atlanta at the Henry Baughman Tennis Complex.
