CPD: Columbia man charged with criminal abuse By Officer Adam Cravens, PIO Columbia Police Department The Columbia Police Department responded to an active domestic call on Edna Drive before NoonCT on Thursday, March 13, 2025. Upon arrival, Officers could hear disturbance from within the residence before making contact with victim and perpetrator. After on scene investigation concluded, a male subject was placed into custody with several charges. Silas Tabor, 48, of Columbia, has been charged with terroristic threatening, assault 4th degree, strangulation 2nd degree, and criminal abuse first degree.
