Wanda Sue Owens, 81, Casey County, KY Wanda Sue Owens of Bethelridge, KY passed from this life on March 8, 2025, at home with family by her side. She was 81 years of age. Born June 6, 1943, in Dunnville, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Shelton and Bulah Lee. Wanda worked up until she was seventy-four years of age. She loved to read, work on her crossword puzzles, fishing, and hopping in the truck with Junior to ride the back roads. Wanda is survived by two daughters, Chris (Greg) Haste of Bethelridge and Sheila Owens of Pensacola, FL; three grandkids, Paula (Kyle) Corder of Bethelridge, Pennie (Steve Nash) Haste of Bethelridge and Joshua Tompkins of Destin, FL; and two great-grandbabies, Sadie Corder and Wyatt Corder of Bethelridge. In addition to her parents, Wanda is preceded in death by her husband, Junior Owens; a daughter, Regina Suzette Owens; infant siblings, Maryann Lee and Edward Phillip Lee; and a brother, Marshall Lee. Funeral services will be held at 1pmET on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Gene Sweet and Helen Pfieffer officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 to 1 on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Greg Haste, Joshua Tompkins, Kyle Corder, Steve Nash, Michael Lee and Mark Lee. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society at P.O.
