ACSO recovers stolen property

On February 01, 2025 Adair County Sheriffs Deputies responded to the Flatwoods Road area about someone trying to hide tools in a field. Deputies were able to make contact with 2 male individuals and locate a numerous amount of power tools.

During the investigation Deputies learned that the power tools were stolen from two different locations in the Portland Road area of Adair County. The Adair County Sheriffs Office was able to identify and return numerous power tools to the rightful owners.


Also during the investigation the Adair County Sheriffs Office located a stolen vehicle and other stolen property that was reported stolen to the Kentucky State Police from the Cedar Grove Road area of Adair County.

Case is going to be presented to the Adair County Grand Jury for criminal charges against 3, possibly more individuals for prosecution for burglary and theft of these items.
