Free AARP Foundation Tax-Aide on Tuesdays

From Katie Curry

An AARP Foundation Tax-Aide site is now available at the J.L. Turner Leadership Center, 210 Lindsey Wilson St., Columbia, KY, on the Lindsey Wilson campus. The site is open every Tuesday from 2:30pmCT to 5:30pmCT, now through April 15, 2025 (except for March 4).

This free service is available to all taxpayers that fall within the scope of the program. Services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Most simple returns fall within our scope. We are not always able to assist those who have self employment income. Rental income and farm income also fall outside of our scope. A more thorough list can be located at taxaide.aarpfoundation.org.

To receive assistance, please bring the following documentation:
  • Photo identification for the taxpayer and spouse
  • Social security card for taxpayer, spouse, and dependents
  • Prior year tax return
  • Any tax documents received for the 2024 tax year
For more information, contact Katie at 270-384-8063.
