LWC: HS Seniors compete for prestigious Begley Scholarship Click headline to see photos from Begley Scholars Day. More than 40 high school seniors traveled to Lindsey Wilson College on Saturday, February 1, 2025, to participate in the annual Begley Scholars Day and interview for the college's most prestigious scholarship, the John B. Begley Scholarship. Created in 1997 to honor John B. Begley, who served as Lindsey Wilson's sixth president of Lindsey Wilson from 1977-97, the Begley Scholarship is a full-tuition, room-and-board scholarship awarded annually to three incoming freshmen.
