Basketball: Seniors to be honored at Monday game

By Trey Stephens, Staff Writer

The Adair County Indians Boys Varsity Basketball team returns to action today as they host the Evangel Christian Eagles (5-14). Tipoff is scheduled for 7pmCT on Monday, February 3, 2025, at John Burr Memorial Gymnasium, 526 Indian Drive, Columbia, KY. Tickets are available at hometownticketing.com.

The Eagles come off a 74-69 overtime win on the road against Corbin, while the Indians come off their 9th straight victory over Bardstown. The Indians will be seeking to repay an 88-70 defeat from the Eagles last season, in a year which saw both the Eagles and Indians finishing the season in the state tournament.

This game will also feature Senior Night festivities for the 8 Senior Indians and the Senior Cheerleaders. The senior Indians are:

  • Solomon Stonebraker
  • Carter White
  • Isaiah Cochran
  • Blane Bardin
  • Connor Loy
  • Lane Grant
  • Brayton Coomer
  • Jayden Miller
Recognition will take place after the JV game. Come out and cheer on your Indians and support our Seniors!
