David Louis Meadows, 51, Green County, KY David Louis Meadows of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late Shelby Meadows and Rosie Matney Meadows, was born on Friday, March 9, 1973 in Greensburg, and departed this life on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at his home. He was 51 years, 10 months, and 23 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ, with Maple Hill Methodist Church being his home church. He was formerly employed with Jane Todd Crawford Hospital as an emergency room tech and psychiatric ward attendant. He loved fishing, gaming, basketball, and kayaking. When he was younger, he excelled at skateboarding. Survivors include his children: Heaven Lee Meadows of Russell Springs, Hallie Grace Meadows, and Hayden Louis Meadows both of Greensburg; a sister and brother-in-law: Donna and Brad Mitchell of Greensburg; uncle: Jerry Matney of Indiana; nieces and nephews: Renea Meadows, Tasha and Gary Buckner, Lynbree Mitchell and Jamie Jeffries all of Greensburg; a great-niece: Aleeah Woodson of Greensburg; and a host of other relatives and friends. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his grandparents: Porter and Gracie Meadows, and Lloyd and Fay Matney; and a brother: Daryl Timothy Meadows. The funeral services for David Louis Meadows will be conducted at 1pmCT Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation is requested after 10am Tuesday until time of the funeral service. The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the family burial fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
