Track and Field: LWC secures 4 top-10 finishes at Lyles Invitational

Louisville, KY - The Lindsey Wilson men's track and field team finished with four top-10 finishes at the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational.

Maxwell Wordui secured third place in the long jump with a personal-best and NAIA "A"-standard leap of 7.49 meters, surpassing his previous record of 7.45 meters. In the triple jump, Lorenzo Luces claimed fifth place with an impressive 14.66-meter jump, which met "B" standards

Daniel Otibo had two top-10 finishes as he placed fourth in the 400-meter dash at a time of 49.07. He and his Blue Raider teammates, Enric Fernandez, David Requejo, and Royce Mentor later competed in the 4x400-meter relay, clocking a time of 3.17.45 to earn 10th overall.

Elsewhere, Justin Stearns logged a "B" standard mark of 4:11.26 in the mile.

The men's track and field team will be back in action February 8 in Indianapolis, Indiana at the Fairgrounds Invitational.
