South Central Kentucky Beekeeping School The 20th South Central Kentucky Beekeeping School will be held from 8:30amCT to 3pmCT on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at the Allen County-Scottsville High School Career Center, 1545 Bowling Green Road (Veterans Highway), Scottsville, KY. The event is hosted by the Allen County Beekeepers Association Inc. The keynote speaker will be Jerry Hayes, Editor of Bee Culture Magazine and past Chief of Apiary Section, Florida Dept. of Ag. and Consumer Services. Classroom subjects will include beginning beekeeping equipment, disease in honeybees, cooking with honey, queen production and etc. Registration begins at 7:30amCT on Feburary 1, 2025, with $10.00 per individual or $15.00 per family. A lunch menu will be catered from Smoke Shack BBQ for addition cost. The Allen County Beekeepers Association Inc. mission is providing education within the agriculture realm of beekeeping in the South Central Kentucky and Northern Tennessee area.
