W.C. Skaggs, 89, Taylor County, KY Winsfred "W.C." Skaggs of Campbellsville, son of the late Albert Skaggs and Cora Carlisle Skaggs, was born July 16, 1935 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died Monday, January 6, 2025 at age 89. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Zion Separate Baptist Church. Winsfred was a retired farmer. He had also worked at Fruit of the Loom in the boiler room and at Chappell's Dairy. He united in marriage to Lois Price July 28, 1956 and she preceded him in death September 21, 2013. Winsfred later united marriage to Dorothy Graham and she preceded him in death August 15, 2020. Winsfred is survived by one son and one daughter: Roy Coleman Skaggs and Kimberly Wilhoit and husband, Kevin of Campbellsville; two step-children: Brenda Young and husband, David and Marshall Graham and wife, Denise; two grandsons: Anthony Wilhoit and Connor Wilhoit; two great-granddaughters: Charlotte Wilhoit and Margaret Wilhoit; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Winsfred was also preceded in death by three brothers and one sister: Chester Skaggs, Rev. Garlin Skaggs, Roscoe Skaggs and Lola Mae Williams. FUNERAL SERVICE: 1pmET Friday, January 10, 2025 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Bro.
