Basketball: Lady Indians face Casey Co. Lady Rebels

By Trey Stephens, Staff Writer

The Adair County Lady Indians Basketball team returns to the court to take on the Casey County Lady Rebels at 6:30pmCT/7:30pmET tonight, Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Casey County High School, 1841 E. State Hwy 70, Liberty, KY.

The Lady Rebels sit at 3-8, and come off a 20-point loss at home against Pulaski County this past Tuesday. Casey County struggled with shooting in that matchup, going just 18 of 56 from the floor (32%).

The leading scorer for Casey County in the Pulaski County game was Junior Elizabeth Forbes, with 21. Forbes has led the Lady Rebels in most of their outings this season. Slowing down her production and keeping Casey County as a whole near the numbers they shot in that last game, will likely provide the best pathway to victory for the Lady Indians.
