Louise Wooten, 87, Russell County, KY

Margaret Louise Wooten, age 87, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Wednesday, January 08 2025 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland.

She was General Manager of WAIN Radio Station in Columbia for 24 years and of the Methodist faith.


She was born on Thursday, January 21 1937, in Creelsboro, KY, the daughter of Effie Myrtle Hill Miller and Orla Lee Miller, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include:

A Daughter - Traci Allison Wooten, of Lexington KY

A Son - Mark Edward Wooten, of Russell Springs KY

Two grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Eugene "Yogie" Wooten, a daughter, Vickie Leah Wooten Redmon and a brother, Joe Russell Miller.

There are no services planned. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
