Basketball: Indians defeat Scotties 89-65

By Trey Stephens, Staff Writer

On Tuesday, January 7, 2025, the ACHS Indians Boys Varsity Basketball team thoroughly defeated the Glasgow Scotties, 89-65, in a game at Adair County High School.

The team combined to shoot 55% from the floor and 33% from the three. Senior Isaiah Cochran posted a career high 30 points to lead the team, followed by Connor Loy with 28. Cochran and Loy also led the team in rebounding with 8 and 4 respectively.

This game avenges the loss that the Indians suffered at the hands of the Scotties last year, which ended Adair County's 9 consecutive wins to open the season.

The team will next face Owensboro (5-7) on Saturday, January 11, 2025, in the Lindsey Wilson Classic at Biggers Sports Center.
