ACSO: Single vehicle rollover in Pellyton

On December 30, 2024, at around 9amCT, the Adair County Sheriff's Office responded to the 18000 block of Liberty Road, in the Pellyton community of Adair County, for a single vehicle rollover accident.

Brandon Poff, age 34, of Liberty, was operating a 2008 Honda CRV traveling east on Liberty Rd. when a tire blew out, causing Poff to lose control, and the vehicle to overturn.

Poff was ejected from vehicle and was flown to UK Hospital for his injuries. A male juvenile passenger was taken to hospital by private vehicle for treatment of his injuries.

The accident is being investigated by Adair County Deputy Sheriff Gary Roy. Adair EMS and Knifley Fire Department also responded to scene.
