Basketball: ACHS Boys headed to MCIT

By Trey Stephens, Staff Writer

On, Friday, December 27, 2024, the Adair County Indians Boys Varsity Basketball team returns to the court as they travel to Mason County to take on the hosting Mason County Royals in the Mason County Invitational Tournament.

The Indians come off a 56-50 loss to Newport, while the Royals come off a 63-48 win over Iroquois High School. In that game, the Royals shot 50% from the floor and were led in scoring by Senior Cole with 24, he also led the team in rebounding with 8. Limiting Horch's usefulness will be a key element for the Indians to come out victorious. Further, Adair will need to improve on their shooting from the last game, where they shot 40% from the floor and just 18% from distance.

The Indians are set to tip off at 6:30pmCT/7:30pmET in the Mason County Fieldhouse, 1320 U.S. Hwy 68, Maysville, KY.
