Football: Stonebraker and Grant named to CJ All State Team By Trey Stephens, Staff Writer Two Adair County Football players were named to the Louisville Courier-Journal All State Team. Senior wide receiver Solomon Stonebraker was named to 3rd Team All State, and Senior all running back/all purpose player Lane Grant was an All State Honorable Mention. The two players helped the Indians put together their standout season. Stonebraker notched his best game in the 36-30 win over Monroe County where he posted 9 receptions for 231 yards and 2 touchdowns. Grant saw his best work passing the ball in that same game, going 9 of 14 for 234 yards and 2 touchdowns, and had his best game on the ground with 201 yards and 2 touchdowns on 27 rushes. The Franklin-Simpson game was also a great outing for Grant, where he went for 4 rushing touchdowns and 146 yards on just 10 carries. This story was posted on 2024-12-24 16:44:18
