Book Fair one of most successful ever According to co-sponsor Mike Watson, The 2024 book fair was one of the most successful in the 18 years he and Mayor Pam Hoots have been hosting. Of the two dozen plus vendors, all were pleased with the turnout and customers totaled more than 300 according to the best guesstimates. There were several vendors new to the fair as well as numerous returning authors and sellers. Several new books were offered as well as select out-of-print offerings. Authors at the event included: Rick Lee, Russell Lunsford, Metcalfe County Historical Society, Pam Hoots, Tim Roy, Lanny Tucker, Michael C. Watson, Barbara Wright, Green County Genealogical Society, Samantha Sinclair, Lanterns & Tombstones Tours, Mary Donna Foley, Dick Scholl, Rebecca Williams, Adair County Arts Council, Christopher Rowe, Phillip W. Coffey, Pam Spires, Susan Eoff, Ritchie Hale, JB Tillotson, Serena Corbin, Doug Peterson, Jane Lampton Chapter DAR, Adair County Genealogical Society, Adair Heritage Association.
